Owners of the Tucky Cabin, a beautiful riverfront short-term rental in Kentucky

We are college sweethearts and have been happily married since 2017. We have two kiddos and LOVE to travel!!! We’ve visited many different locations, from up north in Michigan, Galveston, Hocking Hills, Myrtle Beach, Miami, Yucatan, Cozumel, Destin, Turks and Caicos, Nassau, and more. We are now happy to own and manage this beautiful short-term rental in Kentucky, near Elizabethtown, Louisville, Mammoth Caves, and so much more.

Why here? This quaint, newly renovated, riverfront home is charming with its large back deck, private beachfront on the river, and two firepits to enjoy. This quiet location provides opportunities for fishing, kayaking, bird watching, and simply relaxing. The Tucky Cabin is the getaway destination for our family and we look forward to sharing our little slice of paradise with you.

The Tucky Cabin is a short-term rental in Kentucky, and it is quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. It’s about 20 minutes from Leitchfield KY, 1 hour from Mammoth Caves, 40 minutes from Elizabethtown, and 1.5 hours from Louisville and Bowling Green.

There are many outdoor activities within an hour or so, including cave tours, hiking trails, boat rental, wineries, and much more.

Reid was an awesome host very accommodating and responsive. The place had beautiful views of the river, very peaceful and serene. It comes with kayaks and a canoe which was great. The driveway is pretty steep but there is a place to park up top if you didn’t feel comfortable driving down. The cabin had everything you would need and more!

This place was a quiet oasis. My dad and father-in-law were mesmerized by all the fishing they were able to do right from home while the ladies sat on the porch and relaxed. Signal was awful but allowed for more talking amongst each other and interaction with nature which was a big plus! Definitely recommend this place if you enjoy the outdoors and want to get away from the city!

We loved this peaceful and beautiful cabin! The kayaks were a great addition. We really enjoyed our time out by the water. Our family really loved the location and privacy. We will definitely be back!

The Tucky Cabin was a great stay, its tucked back in a very remote location that is very peaceful. The place was fully stocked with everything you could need. Kitchen utensils, linens, laundry detergent, spices, really nice coffee maker, diffusers, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, games, very comfortable beds/pillows, wifi. It was very clean and updated inside upon arrival. Fishing, kayaking, swimming is available for miles. We had several campfires and had a great time on the river. I caught several bass, seen deer and other wildlife everyday. We floated the river all day and didn't see anyone else. Its like your own personnel wilderness. We had a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! It was peaceful and beautiful...very remote...a nice escape. Reid was extremely responsive and helpful.

This was the perfect place to get away and relax! The place has everything you need in the kitchen and has really nice details to make you feel at home. I love how secluded the property is but it is not too far away from stores and restaurants. We had a really great stay!

If you are searching for someplace to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle , this place is it!!! With all the amenities of home and the welcome feel from the owners it quickly removes any stresses you would have . We had a perfect time of rest and recharge and would return again.
